We enjoyed everything, nice people at front desk, spacious and somewhat private tentsites, river views. Didn't like the road behind the campground - it's too close, and the road on the campground - some people (unexpectedly a lot actually) can't read 5 mph limit, get clouds of dust everywhere....

Wonderful family owned campground. The staff is amazing, very friendly. Our family has our annual reunion here every year. Last year my husband and I got engaged here in one of their canoes in May and came back down in September and got married on Skyline drive but had our reception and honeymoon here. Love this place and can't wait to go back next year.

The location wasn't terrible and there were some nice campsites on the river but we booked late and only the cheaper sites were available. The campsites were so small that you could here other campers word for word two or three sites down. Unfortunately for us, there were 2 large groups that were determined to play their mariachi music louder than the other. The music was so loud you could hear it across the campground. Some of these campers were rather intoxicated and one in particular kept trying to mess with my dog. As he was part of a group with about 10 people and my husband and myself were alone, this made us very uncomfortable. The staff were nice enough but we had a bad enough experience with the noise and other campers that we will not be returning.

This place was a ton a fun. Alan and the rest of the office were helpful, fun to talk with. This is a great place to stop for the night of you're doing an extended trip on the river. Relaxed atmosphere. Mostly weekenders and families. Showers.

Nice campground, staff very friendly. We had a great experience in general, except for some group of drunk guys who obviously don't understand the "quiet time after 11 pm" I wish the stuff did something. Also, would be nice to have bathrooms in the down part of the campground and water access. Loved the location and the river side view! We will return for sure!
